- This specialty diagnoses and treats diseases of the digestive tract, including the liver.

General Surgery
- General surgeons perform a variety of surgical procedures, including treating gallbladder disease, hemorrhoids, colon problems and peripheral vascular problems; repairing hernias; placing ports for dialysis; and removing breast masses.

Gynecology
- This specialty focuses on the primary care of women.

Internal Medicine - This primary care specialty diagnoses and treats a full range of problems in adults, from adolescents to the elderly.

Nephrology
- This specialty treats kidney disease.

Neurology - Neurologists treat diseases and injuries of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves, including brain tumors, blood clots, spinal stenosis, herniated discs and carpal tunnel syndrome.

Neurosurgery - Neurosurgeons specialize in surgical procedures of the central nervous system, including the brain and spinal cord.

Obstetrics and Gynecology
- This specialty focuses on the primary care of women, including prenatal care and childbirth.

Oncology and Hematology
- This specialty diagnoses and treats cancer and blood disorders.

Ophthalmology
- This specialty diagnoses and treats medical and surgical problems with the eye.

Orthopedic Surgery
- This specialty diagnoses and treats diseases and problems with bones, joints and muscles; and often includes sports medicine.

Otolaryngology - This specialty diagnoses and treats problems of the ears, nose and throat.

Pain Medicine – This new medical specialty, involving both neurology/neurosurgery and pain medicine, works to reduce and/or eliminate chronic pain caused by surgery, injury, degenerated disk disease, shingles, cancer and other factors.

Pediatrics - This specialty focuses on primary medical care for children, from newborns through the teen-age years.

Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation - This specialty focuses on rehabilitation. Electromyography evaluates the health of muscles and nerves.

Plastic Surgery - Plastic Surgery is the practice of reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. Reconstructive surgery includes repairing birth defects, injuries, skin tumors and soft tissue defects, and breast reduction and reconstruction. Cosmetic surgery includes face lifts; reshaping noses; removing excess skin and suction-assisted lipoplasty of thighs, abdomens, necks and chins; and breast lifts and enlargements.

Podiatry - This specialty involves the medical and surgical care of the foot and ankle.

Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine - This specialty treats lung diseases and critically ill patients.

Rehab/Physical Medicine/Electromyography – This specialty focuses on rehabilitation. Electromyography is testing to evaluate the health of muscles and nerves.

Rheumatology and Metabolic Bone Disease - The specialty treats connective tissue diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematous, gout and osteoporosis.

Urgent Care – This new specialty to the Alliance treats acute illnesses and injuries.

Urology - This specialty diagnoses and treats general problems of the urinary tract in men, women and children, along with prostate and sexual dysfunction problems in men.
