Stephen Houseworth, M.D.A 1974 graduate of West Point, Dr. Houseworth received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. He completed his internship and his residency at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado. He also had a special rotation in sports medicine at The U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
Dr. Houseworth served in the U.S. Army from 1970 to 1990, and he completed Ranger School in Fort Benning, Georgia in 1974. He was also a volunteer physician for the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was the team physician for the U.S. Ski Team in Portillo, Chile, in 1989 and in Pila, Italy, in 1987.
Before moving to Jackson, Dr. Houseworth practiced medicine in Bossier City, Louisiana. He and his wife, Carolyn, have one daughter, Lauren.
John P. Masterson, M.D.Dr. John P. Masterson received his medical degree at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. His internship was at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas, and his residency was at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu.He moved to Jackson in 1999 from Fort Hood, Texas, where he was a major in the U.S. Army Medical Corps. He is board certified.
Keith Nord, M.D.Dr. Keith Nord, board certified in orthopedic surgery and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, founded Sports Orthopedics and Spine in 1996. He spent 16 years in the U.S. Air Force. His medical degree is from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. He also has a masters degree in biology with an emphasis on physiology from California State University in Long Beach. His post graduate training was at Wilford Hall U.S. Air Force Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Nord has a general orthopedic practice with an emphasis on shoulders, sports medicine and total joint replacement. He recently invented a surgical device that allows the physician to use the less invasive arthroscopic surgery to repair rotator cuff tears. He is an international consultant for arthroscopy and an association master instructor for the Arthroscopy Association of North America.
Timothy Sweo, M.D.Dr. Timothy Sweo, an orthopedic surgeon, joined Sports, Orthopedics and Spine after completing a one-year fellowship in shoulder arthroscopy and sports medicine at the clinic. He spent nearly 12 years in practice in Jasper, Tennessee, at Sequatchie Orthopaedics before moving to Jackson. His medical degree is from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. His internship and residency in orthopedics was at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana.
G. Bradford Wright, M.D.Dr. G. Bradford Wright, who is board certified in orthopedic surgery, received his medical degree at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. His internship was at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, and his residency in orthopedic surgery was at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Besides serving in the U.S. Air Force, Dr. Wright has been the team physician for several U.S. Air Force teams and Olympic development teams. He practiced medicine for several years in Provo, Utah, before moving to Jackson.
David Yakin, M.D.Dr. David Yakin, who joined the clinic in 1997, earned his medical degree at the Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. His internship in general surgery was at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh; his residency in orthopedic surgery was at Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA. Board certified in orthopedic surgery, he is a clinical instructor at the University of Tennessee Family Practice Residency Program in Jackson.

Harold M. Antwine III, M.D.Dr. Harold M. “Trey” Antwine III is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Tennessee Orthopaedic Society. A graduate of the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, La., Dr. Antwine completed his internship and residential programs in orthopaedic surgery at Greenville Memorial Hospital and Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled Children in Greenville, S.C.
Michael Cobb, M.D.Dr. Michael Cobb, who grew up in Memphis, earned his medical degree at the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences in Memphis. His internship and general surgery residency were at the City of Memphis Hospital; his residency in orthopedic surgery was at the Campbell Clinic in Memphis. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery.
John Everett, M.D.Practicing with West Tennessee Bone & Joint Clinic since 1978, Dr. Everett received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee. His internship was at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas. His residency was at Methodist Hospital and Campbell Clinic in Memphis.
Jason T. Hutchison, M.D.A native of Crockett County and a 1990 graduate of the University School of Jackson, Dr. Hutchison earned his medical degree at the University of Tennessee School of Medicine. His internship in surgery was at Methodist Hospital in Memphis. His four-year residency in orthopedic surgery was at the Campbell Clinic in Memphis where he was Chief Resident his last year. He joined the clinic in 2005.
David Johnson, M.D.Dr. David Johnson, a native of Memphis, earned his medical degree at the University of Tennessee Medical School in Memphis. His internship was at Methodist Hospital in Memphis; his residencies were at Methodist Hospital and the Campbell Clinic in Memphis. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery.
David Pearce, M.D.Dr. Pearce is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his orthopedic residency at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. He received his Fellowship in Sports Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He worked as an orthopedic consultant with the Philadelphia Phillies and has treated both recreational and professional athletes. He joined the clinic in 2004.
Kelly D. Pucek, M.D.Dr. Pucek earned his medical degree at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock. His general surgery internship and his residency in orthopedic surgery were with the University of Tennessee at the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. He received special training in treating trauma victims. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery. A major in the U.S. Army Reserves, Dr. Pucek was deployed to Iraq for several months to treat wounded soldiers.
Adam Smith, M.D.Dr. Smith, a Mayo-fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon, received his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in 1998. He completed his surgical internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina.
He finished his specialty training in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder and elbow at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, in 2004. After that he joined the Kentucky Sports Medicine Clinic in Lexington, Kentucky. Dr. Smith, who is board eligible in orthopedic surgery, has had numerous articles published in various medical journals. His interests include his family, bass fishing, guitar, bluegrass music, baseball, golf and woodworking.
Dr. Lowell Stonecipher, M.D.Dr. Lowell Stonecipher, board certified in orthopedic surgery, started the West Tennessee Bone and Joint Clinic in 1973. He earned his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. His internship was at Greenville General Hospital in Greenville, S.C. His residencies were at Greenville General Hospital and Lee County Hospital Auburn in Opelika, Ala. He also spent two years with the Public Health Service in Gallup, N.M. Dr. Stonecipher was the first physician in the Jackson community to do endoscopic surgery to relieve carpal tunnel pain.
