Dirk Franzen, M.D.Dr. Franzen, who is board certified in neurosurgery, has received special training in stereotactic radiosurgery, microsurgery, laser surgery, and microdiscectomy (treating herniated discs in the back). He has a general neurosurgery practice, with special interests in the management of brain tumors and spinal disorders. He earned his medical degree at the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, Fla. His internship in general surgery and his residency in neurological surgery were at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. He practiced medicine for several years in South Florida before moving to Jackson.

John W. Neblett Jr., M.D.Dr. Neblett specializes in general adult neurosurgical care, spinal stenosis, brain tumors, cerebral aneurysms, cervical and lumbar disc disease and carotid stenosis. Dr. Neblett is board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Neurological Surgery, a fellow of the American Medical Association, and a member of the American College of Surgeons, American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Tennessee Medical Association. A graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Dr. Neblett completed his internship and residency programs at Vanderbilt University Hospital.
