Charles Hertz, M.D.
Dr. Hertz, who has been practicing gastroenterology since 1981, earned his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania. His residency in internal medicine was at the University of Virginia; his fellowship in gastroenterology was at the Medical College of Virginia. He is board certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology. Dr. Hertz has been chief of staff at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital and is a past president of the West Tennessee Physicians' Alliance. He also has climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa and Mt. Everest in Nepal.


Robert Hollis, M.D.
Dr. Hollis began practicing medicine in Jackson in 1993 and joined Medical Specialty Clinic in 1996. A graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Dr. Hollis had his internship and residency at Vanderbilt Medical Center. His fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology was at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He was named the 1995 Physician of the Year at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in Jackson.



Michael Ibach, M.D.
Dr. Ibach, board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology, earned his medical degree at the University of South Florida. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center and his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Louisiana State University. Dr. Ibach is a past president of the West Tennessee Physicians' Alliance.



Daniel Kayal, D.O.
Dr. Daniel Kayal, board certified in internal medicine, received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. His internship and residency in internal medicine were at St. Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, N.J. His fellowship in gastroenterology was at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, Mich.




Ami Naik, M.D.
A graduate of Henry County High School in Paris, Dr. Ami Naik earned her bachelor’s degree at UT Martin and her medical degree at UT’s Memphis Health Science Center. Her internship and residency in internal medicine were at St. Louis University Hospital, and her fellowship in gastro- enterology and hepatology were at UT Memphis. Dr. Naik is board certified in internal medicine and board eligible in gastroenterology/hepatology.
